Sssshhhhh.... Don't tell anyone, but....

Jamie shaved Trae for the first time!  I'm surprised Trae survived the moment because Jamie and I were dying with laughter.  He had all of these horrible scraggly loooong hairs that we would try to yank out while we were tucking him into bed at night, but those suckers were stuck in there.  Trae's skin is baby smooth once again now that Jamie helped shave him up.  I won't even think about the fact that he is getting older, but just the hilarity of the situation.

Another fun angle of the moment.

Big Steps

Trae and Jamison have been working hard and made the leap (dunk) to be baptized to become members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on August 11th.  I'm so proud of them!  They had amazing missionaries come teach them and we enjoyed our time with them.
Trae has shown such maturity and strength in leading his brother to be baptized.  Although, Trae did want his own day to be baptized and even went as far as scheduling his own baptism several hours after the one I scheduled so he could be the star.  The kid lost that war and we had 1 party and 1 time for both boys to be baptized.
Grandpa came down on the 9th to give Trae the priesthood.  It was an amazing experience and something Trae has wanted for almost a year now.  I'm so glad that he made this goal for himself and so proud that he followed through.

Labor Day Weekend

I can't believe that summer is officially over.  We had an amazing weekend at the resort.  Jamie had to work, but made the times he was there memorable.  We went fishing, hung out at the new little farmer's market they had, attended the chili cook-off (which by the way, we found a picture on the resort's website of the 1st place winner and guess who was right there in the picture eating his chili like nobody's business??  HAHA!  Funniest picture I've seen in awhile.  Mason is awesome!), to the park, swimming, and the kids had a riot hanging out with all of the kids.  Grandma and Grandpa made the short drive to have dinner with us and have some fun.   The thunderstorms were amazing and so loud in the trailer.

Throwing rocks in the stream is serious business...

Mason was working on making a pole with a stick and some fishing line he found.

The only picture I got of Trae this weekend.  Isn't he precious?

Bekham, Jamison, and Mason awake and ready to party the day away.

Jamison caught a fish, but unfortunately there are no pictures of the fish because he claims the fishy was slippery... uh-huh, whatever buddy....

Jamison is #1 at the funny looks.

And here is a reminder to never leave a toddler alone when he has gone quiet...
He and kitty Korra had a lovely time though...
