The little devils

It was a rough morning the other day.  It started with Jamison running out of the shower and screaming "MASON. You are dead."  Mason just sat there as if nothing was amiss.  I guess I should have realized that that meant he had done something big.  Jamison proceeds to tell us that he was washing his hair in the shower and he picked up his cup (I'm not sure why he uses a cup to rinse his hair while in the shower, but we'll just go with it) to rinse his hair.  He said it was already filled with water and so he stuck his fingers in it to test the temperature.  He said it was cold for some reason and was about to dump it on his head when his nose caught a smell.  Then he decided to inspect it a bit closer when he realized not only did it have a smell, but it was yellow!... yes, please let your mind grasp this bit of information, put the evidence into order, and you will come up with the same ending that I did.  All this time Mason didn't even move, okay, so maybe the corners of his mouth came up a bit, but otherwise, he sat as cold as stone.  I'm not sure what he was trying to get even with Jamison about, but he felt he was justified.  I don't know, maybe it was the soap on the toothbrush or finding his toothbrush in the garbage that pushed him over that edge, but that kid sure knows how to plot and follow through!
As our morning went on, I hear Bekham giggling like crazy in the living room.  At this point, I'm just happy that this littlest monster is not screaming or banging his head on the hard floor and I leave him be.  After a bit he runs to get me to show me what he's been laughing about and this is what I find....
YES, that is our cat shoved into the book case with the door closed and YES, Bekham put her in there.

So that was my morning, all before 8 a.m.  I know there was more that went on, but we'll just leave it at that.  Someone said it sounded like a wine and coffee day and have to agree with them 100%!

Hunting 2012

Hunting was so much fun this year.  Who knew my stress about not working would come in handy because for the first time in years I didn't have to stress about work while we were hunting.  It was kind of nice to be free from the phone calls.   We really missed Brett, but he assures us that he will be joining us next year.

We did things a bit differently this year and decided to forgo the Arches, but in turn, went to the sand dune.  It was the best decision ever.  The kids had so much fun!  I posted a few videos below of them sliding down the sand hill, digging, burying, rolling, anything that their little minds could come up with to do in the sand.

Mason is up there somewhere.

Ninja Mas.  He decided this costume 2 days before Halloween.  Crafty and homemade seemed to be the theme this year.

The ballerinas!  They were hilarious and manly enough to pull something like this off.
